Shaping the Future of Print and Packaging Education – Hochschule der Medien at ATT 2026 in Bucharest

The conference brought together representatives of the printing and packaging industries, educational institutions and international organisations to discuss education, technological innovation, sustainability and the future of the print and packaging industry of Central Europe. Prof. Dr. Volker Jansen presented the educational concept of our Bachelor’s programme Print Media and Packaging Technologies, highlighting its practice-oriented approach, close industry collaboration and focus on future technologies, digital transformation and sustainable production.

A particularly proud moment was the presentation by our graduate Raoul Benjamin Sükösd, who introduced the results of his Bachelor’s thesis to the Romanian conference audience. His contribution demonstrated the practical relevance and international visibility of the academic work carried out by HdM students and graduates.

The participation highlighted the importance of international cooperation between universities, professional associations and industry partners in preparing the next generation of engineers and specialists for the future of print and packaging.
